- Title: Wait and the Sea Matt Beyrer 2019 Caldograph on Wood 13 x 22 3/8 Framed Florida Artist Signed
- Description: This is a beautiful scene of a wide-open ocean with a sailboat. The foreground has a boat on the far left that has furled sails and a light silhouette to the point where you can still see some blue hues of the stern. Three birds are flying towards the sun on the right of the sun. The curls of the wood run throughout the entire piece mimicking the ocean waves and thin cirrostratus clouds crossing over the sun. The artist’s signature is written in the bottom right corner, and the piece is labeled 208/450.
- Signature: Signed
- Condition: The front and back bottom right corner of the wood have crushed fibers, likely due to transport. The back corner has significantly more damage than the front corner of the piece. Minor abrasions near the wall hook. There is minor chipping on the left bottom corner near the signature. The signature itself has worn away partially, as the acrylic marker used for the signature was likely worn in transport or while on display on the cruise. This piece was being shown on a cruise line, so exposure to sea air and other elements occurred. See our multiple images.
