  Nina Ricci Black and Gold Evening Ensemble, 1980s
  
  This dress by Nina Ricci is one of many items in the Geoffrey Beene archive that were made by other designers. In addition to the Nina Ricci label, the dress has an additional label sewn to the lining. The label is printed with the words 'Nina Ricci' and then the words 'G Beene NY / Evening Dress' are hand-written. 
  
  Black and gold lurex/silk blend cross back slip dress with gathered bust, belt, and gold silk organza cardigan jacket with reembroidered lace.
