Beaker – 35th Iowa Infantry Volunteers dated April 1, 1865, a letter from an Illinois soldier to his wife datelined Nashville, October 18th, 1864 with envelope, a letter datelined Jefferson Barracks, St. Louis dated October 1863 from an invalid soldier to his sister, an envelope with Confederate stamps addressed to a resident in Chapel Hill, NC, and an 1856 dated affidavit letter of character from the Mayor of Davenport, Iowa, and a framed photo of a Civil War Veteran’s Memorial Service (circa 1900), as well as a framed article regarding a twig from the Falls Church, Virginia hanging tree, reportedly used by Confederate Colonel John S. Mosby to hang Union spies.
