AMERICAN COUNTRY CHERRY CORNER CUPBOARD, two-piece construction, unusual shallow form, the upper section with applied cove-molded cornice over two hinged double fielded-panel doors above applied waist molding; the lower section with two hinged fielded-panel doors above applied cut-out bracket-foot base. Poplar and pine secondary wood. Old surface with remains of early red wash. Discovered in Winchester, VA. Second quarter 19th century. 79" H, 48 1/2" W, 15" corner. Bracket base restored. Old loss to cornice proper left side. Other areas of usage wear.
