AMERICAN, POSSIBLY PENNSYLVANIA, PAINT-DECORATED PUNCHED-TIN-PANELED PINE AND POPLAR HANGING CUPBOARD, a fine diminutive form with applied cornice molding over a single hinged door fitted with four punched-tin panels, ends with two punched-tin panels each. Tin pattern of door consists of four slightly overlapping concentric half circles and pattern for ends consists of two slightly overlapping concentric half circles. Likely original comb-decorated exterior painted surface as well as white-painted interior. Late 19th century. 19" H, 21 1/4" W, 11" D.
Excellent condition overall with very minor wear to paint-decorated surface. Latch is a later replacement. Some wear/loss to painted decoration on one end.
