AMERICAN WALNUT AND MAPLE SEWING / DRESSER BOX, possibly "Prison Art", the hinged rectangular lid of stepped-domed form over a case fitted with interior removable tray. Constructed of alternating bands of maple and walnut. Old, possibly original, surface with warm color. First half 20th century. 6 1/4" HOA, 12 1/4" WOA, 6 1/4" DOA.
