ASSORTED AMERICAN JACQUARD COVERLETS, LOT OF TWO, comprising a Pennsylvania example in red, white, and dark and starch blue signed by Charles Young, Mechanicsburg and dated 1843 in two corners, stars, floral petals and leaves pattern with a trailing rose and floral border; and an example in red, blue, green and lilac with a large medial floral medallion with triangles and floral border. Each with three sides of fringe. 1843, and third quarter 19th century. 76" x 84" and 87" x 94".
Good to fair condition, signed example with large stains primarily to one side, each with overall discoloration, stains, repairs, heavy wear and deterioration.
