BALTIMORE, MARYLAND COIN SILVER PRESENTATION PITCHER, with repousse floral swags to body, hollow handle with acanthus leaves and female mask a thumbrest, elaborate foliate and grape band to edge of foot. Underside impressed "KIRK" in block letters for Samuel Kirk (1793-1872), additionally marked with stylized flag and large "C" letter for Baltimore assayer Leroy Atkinson. Engraved presentation from St. Johns Church, Queen Carolina Parish, Maryland to the Reverend Charles S. Williams, 1831 on one side, a list of the vestry of St. Johns Church on the other side, and a coat of arms above "F.R.W." under the spout. Weight: 26.81 ozt.
