NEW JERSEY DECORATED STONEWARE JAR, salt-glazed, approximate two-gallon capacity, tall ovoid form with incised neck rings, arched handles, and low-collar rim, iron-oxide glazed interior. Finely stamped rosette with four symmetrical hearts on one side, and incised flower featuring three hearts as petals on other side, both ornaments brushed with cobalt, additional cobalt at handle terminals.
