PAIR OF SIGNED R. WITTINGHAM (NEW YORK ) BRASS ANDIRONS, the stepped double-turned finial over a belted sphere with stepped plinth beneath, raised on spurred cabriole legs resting on ball feet. Iron log supports. Each stamped "R. Wittingham / N. York" to base of plinth. Early 19th century. 19" H, 19 1/2" L.

Good condition overall, with expected usage wear. Iron log supports repainted with possible restoration.
