- Lot Description
PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA COIN SILVER FIVE-PIECE TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE, comprising a coffee pot, two teapots, a covered sugar, and a creamer, each of rectangular footed form with reeded and gadrooned bands. Each marked "WILLIAMSON" in a rectangle for Samuel Williamson (1772-1843), matching "AAB" script monograms. Total weight: 117.03 ozt. Circa 1810. 5 5/8" to 9 7/8" H.
Literature: Hollan - Philadelphia Silversmiths, p. 219, upper mark.
Provenance: From a New England private collection.
Excellent overall condition, each teapot spout with a dent to lower front, one pot lacking a single handle rivet.Condition
