STAMPED "J. H. OWEN", NORTH CAROLINA DECORATED STONEWARE VASE, salt-glazed, ovoid form with two heavy beaded shoulder rings, concave neck, and thin everted rim, circular stamp under base. Purchased by an ancestor of the current owner around 1920 from the Village Store in Greenwich Village, NYC operated by Juliana Busbee, co-owner of the Jugtown Pottery.
Rim with a shallow chip to top, another smaller chip to lower edge, and a glued 2" x 1/2" piece. No other damage.
