VIRGINIA, PROBABLY SHENANDOAH VALLEY, SPLIT-BOTTOM CHILD'S CHAIRS, LOT OF TWO, comprising a high chair and a side chair; the high chair, oak and possibly chestnut, with original woven-splint seat and dry, untouched natural surface; the side chair, oak and maple, with original woven-splint seat and early white-washed surface. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. Side chair 21" HOA, 10 1/4" x 12 1/4" seat. High chair 33 1/2" HOA, 10 1/2" x 13" seat. Provenance: From a private Loudoun Co., VA collection.
Both in good condition overall with expected usage wear and minor losses to seats. High chair lacking foot rest.
