comprising three series, complete as known, each with a Halloween poem; the first a set of six featuring black cats with witches' accoutrements, and mice in clothes or costumes; the second two each a set of three, featuring witches, owls and black cats, most with a village in the background, possibly one set of six. The first series with two unused and two with postmarks, the with five unused, and none with postmark. First quarter 20th century. Provenance: From the Dorothy R. Daniel estate, Arlington, VA.
(CONDITION UPDATED 2/27/15) Excellent condition overall, with minor edge and corner wear, and some with very minor staining. One witches examples with significant crease to lower right corner.
