Benezit I-409. - Eindrucksvolle Originalzeichnungen zur berühmten Folge von Jean de la Fontaine von hoher künstlerischer Qualität des Französischen Künstlers René Joseph Arar (1908 Talence - 1973 Bordeaux). Er war Porträt-und Landschaftsmaler, Aquarellist, Illustrator und Postimpressionist. Er stellte regelmäßig im Salon des Artistes Français in Paris aus. Die Folge enthält meist großformatige Gouachen, Lavagen und Federzeichnungen viele davon mehrfarbig auf Büttenpapier. Jede Zeichnung mit Titel bzw. kurzem Text. Darunter zahlreiche erotische Arbeiten. Am Ende mit handschritlichen Inhaltsverzeichnis. - Nur wenige Seiten mit minimalen Defekten, meist Wohlerhalten und sauber. Eindrucksvolle Folge mit prachtvollen großformatigen Zeichnungen.

Contemporary vellum (partly rubbed and scraped). - Impressive original drawings for the famous series of Jean de la Fontaine of high artistic quality by the French artist René Joseph Arar (1908 Talence - 1973 Bordeaux). He was a portrait and landscape painter, watercolourist, illustrator and post-impressionist. He exhibited regularly at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris. The series contains mostly large-format gouaches, lavages and pen-and-ink drawings, many of them multicoloured on handmade paper. Each drawing with title or short text. Among them numerous erotic works. At the end with a hand-written table of contents. - Only a few pages with minimal defects, mostly well preserved and clean. Impressive series with splendid large-sized drawings.
