Circa 1855, each with maker's marks and further marked ''30'', all but the teapot marked ''WMcGrew&Son'' for Cincinnati, OH retailer Wilson McGrew & Son (1855-1859), each of ovoid form, raised on a domed circular foot, chased with palmettes and foliate-adorned reserves, comprising a hot water urn with satyr-head ring handles (17'' H x 9'' W x 8.75'' D), a coffee pot (12.5'' H x 9'' W x 4.75'' D), a teapot (9.75'' H x 9.25'' W x 4.75'' D), a covered sugar bowl (10'' H x 6.5'' W x 4.25'' D), a cream jug (7.25'' H x 5.25'' W x 3.25'' D), and a waste bowl with gilt-washed interior (5.25'' H x 6'' W x 5'' D), each engraved to one reserve ''Roberts'', 6 pieces, gross weight 214.190 oz troy approximately, est: $6000/8000

Overall good condition. General light marks, scratches, wear, minute dings and tarnishing commensurate with age. Milk jug with a 1'' x .75'' shallow dent to body. Sugar bowl with an approximately .125''-diameter ding to lid. Footed base of hot water urn totters slightly. Handles with minor separation near joints with insulators. Weight includes bone insulators and non-silver elements of hot water urn's burner. Engraved, as stated.
