''Four works: "Barefoot Girl", "Charro of Guadalajara", "Vaquero of Guadalajara" and ''A Guadalajara Type'''', the first: signed, inscribed and dated upper right: Borein / Guadalajara / 99. The second: signed, inscribed and dated lower left: Borein / Mexico / 1898. The third: signed, inscribed and dated along the upper right edge: Borein / Guadalajara, Mexico / 1898. The fourth: titled, inscribed, dated and signed upper left: Mexico / 1898 / Borein. The first, second and third are titled by repute, the first and second: pencil on paper under glass. The third and fourth: watercolor and pencil on paper under glass, sight size: the first: 11.75 x 6.75. The second: 9.25 x 5. The third: 12.75 x 5.75. The fourth: 9.5'' H x 5.5'' W, est: $1200/1800 Provenance: Collection of Earl C. Adams, San Marino, CA; through descent to current owner, Private Collection, Northern California

Condition

Visual: Each: Generally good condition. Minor toning to the paper. The first with heavier toning along the edges. Scattered staining and grime. The second and third with heavier staining. The first is mounted to the recto mat with artist's tape along the edges. The second, third and fourth are hinged to the back mat with artist's tape in the upper corners.

Nor does JMA assume any responsibility for any damage to picture frames or to the glass therein. In circumstances JMA arranges and bills for such services via invoice or credit card, JMA will include an administration charge.
  
  In the case of JMA personally delivering an item, if an item cannot be delivered in condition equal to the existent condition at the time of should any item be mis delivered, stolen or lost prior to delivery, JMA‚s liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the buyer at the auction. Buyers are strongly encouraged to view all items auctioned on display before the auction to determine the true condition of items of interest.
