Possibly Qing Dynasty (1644-1911)
The cylindrical form inlaid with semi-precious stones including: mother-of-pearl, coral, malachite, soapstone, turquoise and lapis-lazuli, to depict a long gnarled bough bearing prunus in various stages of bloom, entwined with camellia branches. The ground is further detailed with lingzhi and orchid leaves emerging from rocks.

Condition: Loss of mother of pearl flowerhead and adjacent (probably malachite) small leaf. Age-appropriate abrasion to inlay and huanghuali.
