60. Art Deco Silver Cane -Ca. 1920 -Large and plain silver crook handle embellished with flush set ebony inlay, ebony shaft and a metal ferrule. Here the art of canes meets the Art Deco in a bursting way and the haunting symmetry happily reminds us of what Art Deco was capable of producing. A functional simplicity belies the cane’s faultless hand craftsmanship and sophisticated construction with an uncompromising approach to design.
