19th Century - A carved bone handle which is lined in dark lizard skin, a decorative plant carving on either side. The handle incorporates a concealed mechanical compartment with working push button mechanism which extends the spectacles outward when pressed, bi-metal collar, exotic dark hardwood shaft, and a bi-metal ferrule. Overall good condition, patina on handle consistent with age, light wear on shaft. H-4 3/4x2" OL-36 1/2"
