Ca. 1875-1900 - An elegant late Victorian system pipe cane constructed of natural bamboo with honey patina. The cane features a silver mounted collar stamped "ET & Co.", surmounted by a detachable briar pipe bowl handle, the handle unscrews to reveal the original internal smoking stem made from wood, horn, and flexible cord, the threaded mechanism remains intact demonstrating the refined engineering typical of late 19th century gentleman's novelty canes, and a bi-metal mostly brass ferrule, wear is consistent with age but overall excellent working condition. H-2 1/2x3" OL-32"
Each auction has different shipping terms but the buyer always pays.
