Dated 1869 - Silver circular handle which unscrews at the halfway point to open a compartment which contains the 28" two sided blade with blood grooves, blade is engraved "Arrica of Toledo Ano 1869", etched and blacked retaining some original blacking, bamboo shaft, and a metal ferrule which the blade can be inserted to create a spear. Blade can also be concealed in the ferrule rather than the compartment atop. H-1 3/4x2" 37 1/4"
