Demetre Chiparus, Romanian (1886-1947) "After Reading", Circa 1925 Gilt and Cold Painted Bronze Sculpture on Stepped Onyx Base. Signed Chiparus to base. Stamped with Paris foundry mark and Made in Paris. Numbered 43. Original paper label to underside of base. Minor rubbing otherwise good original condition. Measures 14-3/4" H.
