Offset lithograph after the artist''s Le Grande Passion, 1984 (Ref.: Feldman & Schellmann IIIb.28), depicting in vivid colors a green bottle of French liqueur casting a magenta shadow over a gestural drawing of a flowering passion fruit. With printed signature, lower right. Unframed. Sheet: 39" H x 37" Note: Warhol created this image as part of his 1980s Advertisement series. This particular image was used by Carillon Importers Ltd. for La Grande Passion, a passion fruit-flavoured brandy. The offset lithographs were primarily made available to liquor stores and distributors as marketing materials, and relatively few have survived.
