oil on canvas, signed at lower right, inscribed and dated on the verso "Interior / 1928," presented in a very fine custom frame by Edward Wright of NC.SS 17.75 x 12 3/8 in.; DOA 23.25 x 18 in.Born in Amiens, Maguet work was exhibited during his lifetime at the Salon d'Automne, the Salon des Independants, the Salon des Tuileries and in several prominent Paris galleries. His work was shown posthumously at the Salon d'Automne in 1941, the Exhibition North Africa in Lisbon and the Amiens Museum in 1965.Accompanied by a conservation treatment report from Hessling Conservation, LLC of Durham, NC (dated March 23-May 10, 2010).
