A Group of Four Agate Snuff Bottles,
the first of double-gourd form having a two smaller gourds pendent from a branch depicted wrapped around the neck, with a bat and a flower in high relief and incised foliage, the stopper handle depicting a leafy sprig; the second of a compressed, round form with a recessed, oval foot ring, having a dragon pursuing a pearl and scrolled ruyi clouds to the reverse, each decorative group carved from the red skin inclusions, with a green glass stopper lid; the third of baluster form having high relief decoration of a bat flying above a leafy peach branch, with a shadow agate inset stopper lid; the fourth a large, polished bottle of slightly compressed, rounded form, of a mottled, creamy russet and beige stone, very well hollowed, with a coral stopper handle above a stack of three metal coins, likely reproduction, one of them marked Jia Qing Tong Bao.

The double gourd bottle in overall good, complete condition having minor wear throughout and minor abrasions around the mouth rim consistent with use. Fairly well hollowed. The scoop of bamboo and intact.
The bottle with the green stopper lid having minor wear throughout. Well hollowed, lacking scoop.
The bat and peach bottle having small chips around the mouth rim and foot ring. Scoop broken, shadow agate cover intact.
The large bottle in overall good condition with minor wear and natural inclusions. The scoop much too small for the bottle, but intact.
