A Souvenir Photograph Album from the Sale of the Oak Knoll Library
A Souvenir of the Opening Sale of the Oak Knoll Library, Parke-Bernet Galleries Inc., April 16, 1941. A photograph album commemorating the first sale of books from Alfred Edward Newton's (1864-1940) Oak Knoll Library, this copy has an inscription by E. Swift Newton to Randolph Adams dated October 6th, 1941 and the book consists of sixteen pasted in photographs of various figures and scenes of the event.
Dimensions: the books is 11" x 9 1/2" x 1/2"
Provenance: From the Estate of Martin W. Hutner, New York, NY.
