Early 20th century, in the Fairfax pattern with engraved decoration to the handles, comprising:
In all silver: two 7 3/4" forks, two 7 1/4" forks, a 6" salad fork, a 6" fish fork, two 5 1/2" cocktail forks, a 5 3/4" seafood fork, two 5 1/2" ice cream forks, a 6 3/4" soup spoon, two 5 1/4" bouillon spoons, a 6" egg spoon, a 7 1/4" spoon, two 5 3/4" spoons, two 5 3/4" dessert spoons, two 7 1/2" iced tea spoons, a 6" ladle, a 5" ladle, a 4" teaspoon, a 8 1/4" serving spoon, a 9" salad set, a 6 3/4" master butter, two 5 1/2" butter spreaders, and a 4 1/2" tongs with claw terminals
Items with loaded handles and/or stainless steel: twelve 8 1/2" knives, four 9 1/2" knives, twelve 8" knives, a 10" pie server, a 6 1/2" cheese knife, two carving sets one 10 1/2" long the other 15 1/2" long, and a 14 1/2" honing rod. The lot also includes a sterling silver ice tweezer by Webster Co.
This lot comes with a large silver chest retailed by J.E Caldwell & Co.
