An Assorted Group of Silver Flatware
Mostly late 19th and 20th centuries, comprising: twelve sterling 7 3/4" ice tea spoons by Frank M. Whiting, five all sterling silver 5 5/8" butter spreaders, a sterling 8 3/4" serving fork by International, a sterling 6 1/2" ladle by Towle, a sterling 5 1/2" lemon fork by Frank M. Whiting, a 5" seafood fork by Watson Co., and a set of six early 19th or late 18th century German meat forks in .750 silver. The lot also includes a 10" plated server by community, a plated 9 3/4" server by Reed and Barton, a carving knife and honing rod by Frank M. Whiting with loaded handles and stainless steel blade, a Sheffield plate 10" server, and a silver plate cheese slicer by Alta.
Dimensions: the total approximate weight of the all silver items of the lot is 21 ozt.
Provenance: From a Bucks County collection.
Condition
Overall good with expected surface wear.
