  Painted pine blanket chest, dated 1780, retaining its original blue-green painted surface with three polychrome floral panels to the front, molded lift-top and wrought-iron hardware. Interior retaining original construction and surface. Strong early surface with considerable age and wear.50 x 25 x 21
