The design celebrates Louis XIV, “Louis the Great,” depicted mounted at the center amid elaborate military and equestrian regalia, including trumpets, weapons, armor, bridles and the Order of Saint-Louis. Signed “Hermès Paris” and “Françoise de la Perriere.” 100% silk, hand-rolled edges. The design was subsequently reissued. 35 x 35
