Maker Bio
Founded in 1835 in Wallingford, Connecticut, Wallace Silversmiths rose to prominence as one of America’s leading silver manufacturers. The Grande Baroque pattern, introduced in 1941, was the company’s most iconic design and became an enduring symbol of mid-20th-century luxury dining. Its exuberant ornamentation, influenced by Renaissance and Baroque decorative arts, made it a favorite for formal table settings. Today, complete services in Grande Baroque remain highly collectible and are prized for both their craftsmanship and enduring elegance.
