Erte (born Romain de Tirtoff, 1892–1990) was a Russian-born French artist and designer celebrated as one of the defining figures of the Art Deco movement. His works across painting, prints, and sculpture are renowned for their elegance, exoticism, and highly stylized aesthetic.
