Maker Bio
Paul Storr (1771–1844) is widely regarded as the most celebrated English silversmith of the Georgian and Regency periods. Known for his technical brilliance and elegant neoclassical style, Storr produced exceptional silver for the royal family, aristocracy, and distinguished patrons, often in collaboration with Rundell, Bridge & Rundell, the Crown jewelers. His trays and presentation pieces are particularly prized for their craftsmanship, weight, and balance of bold design with refined detail. Today, Storr’s works are highlights in major collections and continue to represent the pinnacle of English silversmithing.
