“Aphrodite” Pink Glass Sculpture
France, circa late 20th centuryA captivating pte de verre glass sculpture by Olivier Brice, created for the esteemed French crystal manufacturer Daum. Entitled Aphrodite, the piece embodies Brice’s signature fusion of sensual form and ethereal translucence, rendered in softly tinted rose-pink glass that radiates warmth and vitality. The figure’s fluid contours and serene expression evoke the timeless grace of the goddess of love and beauty.
Signed O. Brice on the lower right corner of the front face and Daum France on the side. Accompanied by the original Daum certificate of authenticity and the corresponding name plaque.
Approximate dimensions: 16 × 6 × 6.5 in. (40.6 × 15.2 × 16.5 cm).
