Pair of Sterling Silver Earrings
Taxco, Mexico, circa 1940A sculptural pair of earrings by William Spratling, embodying the refined craftsmanship and modernist sensibility that defined his early Taxco period. Created in solid sterling silver (.925), the design reflects Art Deco influences interpreted through Spratling’s distinctive blend of geometric form and organic dimension. Each earring displays a bold, three-dimensional silhouette, balanced by the smooth, hand-polished finish characteristic of his work.
Fitted at the reverse with original French screw backs.
Weight approximately 15.60 grams (10.1 dwt).
