Walter Dendy Sadler (1854–1923) was a British painter best known for his genre scenes portraying middle- and upper-class society in humorous or ironic situations. Sadler frequently collaborated with printmakers to produce widely circulated engravings and lithographs of his paintings, which expanded his reach to a broad audience.
