Neil Adcock’s passion for sculptural forms is evident in his powerful work showcasing New Zealand treasures, such as amber, jasper, and kauri copal gum. Neil’s strong distinctive designs highlight the qualities and characteristics of his materials, including vividly colored traditional gemstones, often framed with South Island gold and titanium. Adcock is the only jeweler in the world working with an extremely rare New Zealand amber, certified by the Gemological Institute of America as genuine amber with an estimated age of 75 million years, known for its natural phosphorescence.
His work has been exhibited at prestigious institutions worldwide, including the National Art Gallery in Wellington, the New Zealand Fashion Museum, the Royal Academy of Arts in London, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, and the Venice Biennale.
