Mid 20th Century, Original, Collection of Nancy Jo Fox items related to her Alma Mater, Duke University, and to her high school years to include: 29.5" by 25.25" gold gilt frame of Fox's debutante portrait. Duke University Class of 1954 name tag. Duke football pin. 1954 ribbon. Duke University skull form pen holder. Duke University Class of 1954 6" tall mug marked Jo from Nassau China Trenton NJ. 1951 The Debutante Register book with Fox on page 414: Miss Nancy Jo Fox Daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Eugene Fox Albemarle. Debut Terpischorean Club Ball, Memorial Auditorium, Raleigh Friday September 7, 1951. A graduate of Albemarle High School, Miss Fox attended Ravenscroft Episcopal School and Needham Broughton High School in Raleigh, and is not a student at Duke University, Durham, North Carolina. Member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, Duke Glee Club, Duke University Choir, and Duke Players. (2) 1919 Trinity College Yearbooks from when her dad attended. 1947 The Latipac yearbook from Fox's freshman year of high school (not photographed). 1948 The Latipac yearbook from Fox's sophomore year of high school. 1949 The Crossroads yearbook from when Fox was a Junior in high school. 1950 Crossroads yearbook from when Fox was a Senior in high school. 1954 The Chanticleer yearbook from when Fox graduated from Duke University. 1951, 1952, snd 1953 The Chanticleer yearbooks from when Fox was at Duke University. 45 RPM records to include Duke University Carillon, Alpha Delta Phi's Sweetheart Song, Duke University Bachelor's Degree Diploma, Class of 1954 canvas bag, Duke calendar 1951, 1954 Alumni reunion booklet, 1952 Duke student directory, Duke Women's College handbook, Duke Reunion Leadership manual flyer and paper work. Literature
Nancy "Jo" Fox was a distinguished art historian, educator, and author who specialized in American folk art. Career Highlights: Author: She wrote the book Liberties with Liberty (1986), which explored the history of the Statue of Liberty through folk art. Educator: She served as an instructor of Advanced Color and American Folk Art at the New York School of Interior Design. Curator: In 1986, she curated a successful exhibition for the American Folk Art Museum in New York City.

Bidders are always welcome to pickup at our gallery in lieu of shipping. MAAG will not arrange shipping for oversized items. It is on the bidder to find a courier or pick up at our gallery. Online Bidders: We will add shipping charges to your invoice once we have your shipping cost. Once payment for the invoice is received, we will have our shipping department package and prepare your items for shipping. That means we automatically prepare items for shipping after payment is collected. We use the address listed on your account for shipping. IF YOU NEED TO USE A DIFFERENT ADDRESS OR DO NOT NEED SHIPPING AND WILL PICK UP, LET US KNOW ASAP AFTER PAYING YOUR INVOICE.
