- Lot Description
French Empire Figural Carousel Automaton Ormolu Clock. Manner of Louis-Jacques Vaillant; gilt bronze carrousel form octagonal case, decorated with neoclassical motifs throughout, white enamel dial. Early 19th century. {Approximate dimensions: 20" high x 8 7/8" wide x 6 5/8" deep.}.
Winders included, as well as small pins which may be unassociated.
Condition
Condition: Case with minor surface wear and small corrosion spots, mainly to top of case. Pendulum missing so the clock can't be tested properly. Minor enamel loss around winder hole.
