French Rococo Revival P. Japy & Co. Figural Clock Garniture. Banded pink marble, gilt and silvered spelter; the clock with sculpture of boy reading to top, classical relief scene to body, and hoof feet; the candelabra pair with urn forms issuing seven lights, matching relief scenes and hoof feet. Movement with P. Japy mark and "8834", the clock signed "A. Milliot", the dial with rubbed loss to markings. {Approximate dimensions: Clock 32" high x 13" wide x 10" deep, candelabra 30 1/2" wide x 12" diameter.}.
Condition: Some rubbing and loss to gilt finish. Crack to leg and neck of reading boy. Marble with some small chips to edges and light surface wear.
