PABLO PICASSO (Spanish, 1881-1973), Pitcher Gothique Aux Oiseaux [Gothic Pitcher with Birds], 1953, earthenware, with engraved areas, and glazed figures as well as the inside, (approximate dimensions - overall: 11 h x 11-5/8 w x 7 d inches), numbered 7/100 and stamped underside.
Condition
Condition: Surface dust and dirt, crack at the inside lip of pitcher likely from the kiln firing. Dirt underside.
- Provenance
Provenance: Late relative was an art professor on sabbatical in France, 1960, and acquired at the Picasso's studio.
