Seventeenth Century Flemish Verdure Tapestry. Wool with linen canvas backing. Woven with a border of dense flowerheads and feathers, on pale brown and brown background, the primary field with three trees each with extensive foliage, centering a hen with chicks, pheasant, cockatiel, before a waterfall with stream and mountains, etc. Circa 1680-1700. {Approximate dimensions: 103 1/2" x 131".}.

Condition: Repaired and restored areas; short sagging tears; some fading to colors. Please ask for additional photographs.
