Three 18th Century Derby Porcelain Rarities. Comprising: a guglet, a figural candlestick; and a coffee pot. The guglet with molding mid neck, swollen globular body, and waisted foot, painted in polychrome enamels with floral sprays and gilt band to neck, probably by the Cotton Stem Painter. The Rococo molded chamberstick with the figure of a shepherdess in high relief, with applied florals and foliage to the base, and with foliate bobeche under the candle cup. The candlestick and figure painted in polychrome enamels. The panelled coffee pot and domed cover with light molding, painted with pale polychrome enamels with cabbage roses and tulips, etc. Not marked. Derbyshire, England. Circa 1758-1765. {Approximate dimensions: 9 1/2" H. to 9 3/4" H., respectively.}.
Condition: Excellent visual condition, with fine coloration throughout. Guglet: professional restoration to mouth and repainted gilding to the edge. Coffee pot: Restoration to shallow chip to cover; knop to cover. Cover possibly associated. Chamberstick: chips and losses to petals, bobeche off and professionally glued to stick base. Minor tiny black dots of frit, and pitting. Minor surface wear and scratches.
