Signed with artist's monogram, an "H", above the date of 1953. At the top of the unfinished work is painted the words "UNITED STATES LINES", above a portrait of the S.S. "United States". Depicted prominently on the right side is a bottle of John Jameson and Son Dublin Whiskey. The advertising proof is 95% complete, lacking only the filling in of red paint for the word "LINES" at the top and for the name of the last two destination ports in the lower-right. Housed in a modern walnut frame with gold liner under glass. There is some chipping and damage to the lower-right hand corner facing of the frame. Condition: Dimensions: Framed: 29 - 1/2" x 45".
