Circa 1835. Unmarked, however, the entire design of the blade, grip and scabbard looks precisely like those of the maker Schivelys. Blade with swedge on right side; black spotting intermittently along entire length, modern sharpening marks on blade and swedge. German silver crossguard; bolster; decorative pins in grip, three to a side; and pommel. Checkered wood grip. Black leather scabbard tooled in front, German silver mounts with scalloped edges; small hole back of scabbard. From the Bill Williamson collection, pictured in the sales catalog of his auction, lot 3605. Overall: 9 - 3/4" L.
