An antique Persian Heriz rug, from the celebrated weaving tradition of northwestern Persia that has produced some of the most admired and widely collected large-format carpets in the entire Persian canon. Heriz rugs are prized for their bold medallion compositions, vibrant earthy palettes, and the strong, confident drawing that gives each example an enduring decorative presence equally at home in grand and intimate settings alike.Condition
Lot #345 is in very good condition. The pile is full and even, with no visible signs of wear or tear. The two ends are complete and hand secured. The sides are secured. There is no dryness in the foundation. This rug is clean and floor ready.
