Size: 6 ft x 3 ft 9 in (1.82 m x 1.14 m)
An antique Turkish Ghiordes rug, from one of Anatolia's most historically significant and revered weaving centers. Ghiordes rugs — particularly celebrated for their classic prayer format and refined design tradition — are among the most important and collected of all Turkish antique weavings, prized for their distinguished compositional elegance, warm palettes, and the deep cultural heritage they carry from one of Turkey's oldest carpet-weaving cities.Condition
Lot # 352 is in good condition. The pile is mostly low and full and even. There are scattered oxidized browns in the rug. One end is original with kilim and secured. There is a minor loss at the other end and hand secured. his lot is clean and floor ready.
