A pair of silk Turkish Hereke rugs, presenting a rare opportunity to acquire two examples from one of the world's most prestigious weaving traditions in a matched format. Hereke silk rugs are celebrated for their extraordinarily fine knotting, luminous silken luster, and breathtaking technical precision — and pairs of this caliber are exceptionally seldom encountered on the market.Condition
Lot #277, both pieces are in excellent condition. The pile on both pieces is full and even. The ends are original and hand-secured, and the sides are fully secured. There is no dryness in the foundation. Both rugs are clean and floor ready.
