Lot includes Volume 2, An Inquiry concerning VIRTUE and MERIT, The MORALIST; a Philosophical Rhapsody 332 pp., Volume 3 MISCELLANEOUS REFLECTIONS on the preceding treaties, and other critical subjects. A notion of the TABLATURE, or JUDGMENT OF HERCULES. WITH A Letter concerning DESIGN. (1758) 287 pp. plus 40 pp. index to all three volumes. Missing Volume I. Decorated spines, ruled edges. Vol. II with ink inscription as well as title page and page 100; three generations of father to son dedications. Similar inscriptions on volume III going as far back as 1713, then finally passed on to a daughter, as inscribed, on the back inside cover in 1889.Spines starting, tight bound copies with handling wear, interior pages toned but very good.

Available payment options
Invoices are emailed when the auction is complete are required to be paid within five days. We accept bank wire transfers, cash, personal or company checks, and all major credit cards. Payments are accepted through the bidding platform for a 2.8% processing fee assumed by the buyer. If paying by check, Neue Auctions, LLC reserves the right to hold all purchases until the check has cleared to the satisfaction of Neue Auctions, LLC and its bank. Neue Auctions at our discretion, reserves the right to deny credit card purchases by phone. Any credit card payment by phone is subject to a 5% processing fee assumed by the buyer at the discretion of the gallery. We reserve the right to decline payment by credit card for any reason and may request wire payment or check. Payment is required within five days of the auction end date or if a check is mailed, the gallery must be notified. Bidder dispute will be opened if payment is not received within our terms.
